Code of Conduct

The students of the College are expected to observe the following conduct both inside and outside the campus.
Ragging is strictly prohibited in the College as well as in the hostels. A student found guilty of this crime may be severely punished. It may even lead to expulsion from the Institution.

  • Perfect silence should be maintained in the classrooms, the library and the corridors in the college to provide calm atmosphere, congenial to studies. Show proper respect to the teachers and carry out their instructions most faithfully.
  • Use of Mobile Phones in the College Campus is strictly prohibited.
  • Girl students are expected to be modest and wear sober dresses. They must avoid the use of sleeveless dresses and skirts.
  • Keep your identity card with you as any member of the staff or official of the College may demand it at any time. Identity card may be checked on the entry gate of the College and those found without it shall not be allowed to enter College premises.
  • Abide by all rules, regulations and instruction issued by the College Authorities from time to time. Follow high moral values of life such as truth, honestly and devotion to duty.
  • Time, being the greatest wealth that nature has bestowed upon us, the students must make the best use of it and spend it in a creative and constructive way. They should plan their work schedule in advance.
  • Punctuality is the sign of good culture. The students should be punctual in attending their classes and function.
  • Exhibit fine manners and excellent behaviour, use decent language, be courteous and polite in dealing with fellow students and college staff.
  • Keep the environment neat, clean and beautiful at home and at College. Use dustbins. Don’t litter.Observe discipline and decorum in and outside the classrooms and at the functions organized in the College.
  • Utilize vacant periods in reading books, magazines and newspapers available in the library.
  • Quarrels and disputes should be avoided. In the event of serious disputes, a written complaint should be lodged to the Principal at once. No one in allowed to take the law in his/her own hands.
  • Students should understand that the College is a public property and none should disfigure or deface walls with pencil, chalk or any other marks.
  • Damage to College property will not be tolerated under any circumstance.
  • Students are required not to remove chairs/ furniture from any room or canteen to sit outside.
  • Students should keep their vehicles at the parking area. Driving of vehicles in the College campus is not allowed.
  • Sikh students are expected to wear turbans.
  • Students must make it a point to look up the notice board daily to read the latest notices.
  • Ignorance of information duly displayed on the notice board shall not be accepted as an excuse for non-compliance.
  • .75% attendance is must for appearing in University Examinations.
  • .Fee once deposited will not be refunded except in special circumstances and when the student has been issued T.C. within one month of admission.
  • A student will be punished, suspended or expelled from the College, if he/she directly or indirectly takes part or induces others to do so in any agitation or strike in the College for any reason. The order of the Principal is final in every matter whatsoever.
  • Eve-teasing is a criminal offence. strict action will be taken as per law if anybody found doing so.
